Here you find our picture gallery with pics of the past years. With thanks to all of our guests who made these pics available. Without your input we would not have such a nice collection.
(New pics are always welcome. We prefer to receive them in the biggest format possible via e-mail, on CD/DVD or via www.wetransfer.com)

Here you find some general pictures of our horses.

Stable area
A look at the stables and care of the horses after a trail ride. Our horses only come at the stables to eat or when the weather is very, very bad in winter. The remaining time they are alwasy at the land.
Our motto: first the horse, then the rider...

Evening/Night ride
The evening/night ride is a real special experience and is very much enjoyed by all our guests. Obviously it is difficult to make pics in the dark, so unfortunately we only have a few but we are already very happy with these. With thanks to our guests for making these pics.

Cutting/Team Penning (Pics 2011)
A picture selection of cow work; cutting/working cowhorse & team penning.
Spectacular disciplines and much fun to do. One of the reasons why so many guests visit our ranch.
From the 2009 season we use our new outside arena for these disciplines.

|
Barrelrace
This year, 2011, we decided to include the discipline of barrelracing to our activities. A big challenge for all horses and riders and it surely requires some guts. After a round of practice, we will of course ride for the fastest time |

Aubrac cows
The Aubrac cows are a special French breed. Working with these cows requires guts and concentration.
These cows are not quickly intimidated, also not by the horses, and have big sharp horns. The herd includes a big bull and especially during breeding season you should take him into account. Working with the adult cows is normally only granted for the experienced riders.

Cattle Drive (Pics 2011)
The Galloway cows are nice cows to work and practice with. They are not dangerous and definitely not slow or dull. They know the area inside out and this makes it difficult and tricky sometimes to work with them, but at the same time it's a challenge. At the ranch we have a herd of about 15 cows that we use for cattle drive, cutting/working cowhorse and team penning.

The lake of Vesoles (Pics 2011)
The lake of Vesoles (le lac de Vesoles) is a beautiful, big lake not too far from the ranch. As soon as it is possible (with regard to the weather and water level) we can go for a swim with the horses. You can also go there for a swim yourself or go fishing. It's also a great location to have our lunch.

The evening
In the evening it's great to spent some time at the camp fire. Gather wood together, light the fire and the marshmellows can be brought out. Because our ranch is located at a high level, a warm sweater or vest might be necessary. On colder nights it is also very comfortable and cosy to spend time inside. The wooden stove will burn, games can be played and the party can begin.

Activities
Obviously there are many other activities besides horse riding. You can go and explore our estate or refresh at our swimming pool but there is also the possibility to learn lasso throwing, archery, shooting or even trampolining.

Nature in detail
Diversity of plants and animals around the ranch is big. Keep your eyes and ears open and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Snow
In the South of France the weather can be pretty unpredictable. Unfortunately this is something we cannot control, but we always try to make the best of it, make the best use of time and give every one a good time regardless.
The first week of May 2010 we even had 60cm of snow very unexpectedly. Neither we nor our guests took into account this could happen, but it became a week we will never forget.

Group photos
During the past 10 years we gathered many group photos. Unfortunately we do not have one of every group.
In case one of our guests made a nice group photo, we would appreciate if you could send it to us (in the biggest format possible please).

Guests
Some nice pictures of guests who spent their holiday at our ranch.

Harness/marathon
It is very well possible to ride with harnessed horses/marathon wagon. Many randonneurs spend the night at our ranch and enjoy a good meal and breakfast before continuing their journey in the Languedoc the next day.
